Nepal Wins Asian Games Cricket Qualifier in Dramatic Final

It was during this interruption that the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method came into play, a system used to determine the winner in rain-affected matches.
When the rain finally subsided and the DLS method was applied, Nepal was declared the winner by 19 runs. They had reached 114 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in just 11.3 overs, which was enough to surpass the DLS target of 96 runs for that stage of the innings. The Nepali bowlers were exceptional in restricting Hong Kong, with Sher Malla being the standout performer, taking an impressive 4 wickets for 32 runs.
