Lottie Moss Opens Up About Ozempic Overdose and Urges Caution

Lottie Moss, the younger sister of supermodel Kate Moss, has recently shared a distressing account of her experience with Ozempic, a drug primarily prescribed for Type 2 diabetes that has gained popularity for weight loss. In a candid revelation on her podcast "Dream On with Lottie Moss," the 26-year-old model detailed the severe repercussions she faced after using the medication for just two weeks.

According to Lottie, her decision to use Ozempic stemmed from dissatisfaction with her weight. She explained that she acquired the drug through a friend rather than through a formal medical prescription. “It was kind of below board,” she admitted. “It was from a doctor, but not the way you’d normally get it—no blood pressure checks, no tests. Just a bit shady.”

Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, is designed for individuals with Type 2 diabetes and is not intended for those with a normal weight range. Lottie noted that the dosage she was prescribed was meant for individuals significantly heavier than her own weight. “The amount I was taking was for people around 220 pounds, while I was in the 110-pound range,” she revealed. “I wish I had known these details before starting the medication.”

The consequences were severe and immediate. Lottie described the experience as the “worst decision” she ever made, saying that the medication made her feel extremely nauseous. She recounted, “I would rather die any day than take that again. It made me feel so sick.” She experienced persistent vomiting, which led to drastic weight loss—about 20 pounds in a matter of weeks.

The situation escalated when Lottie became unable to retain food or liquids, prompting her to seek emergency medical attention. At the hospital, she suffered a seizure due to dehydration. “I had never had a seizure before. My face was clenching, my whole body was tense,” she described. “It was honestly horrible.”

Lottie Moss’s harrowing tale serves as a stark warning about the potential dangers of using Ozempic for weight loss, particularly without proper medical supervision. Her hope is that her experience will deter others from making similar choices, emphasizing the importance of consulting healthcare professionals before starting any medication. Her message is clear: “If you’re thinking about doing it, do not take it. It’s so not worth it.”
