In the latest episode of BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef, judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode didn’t hold back in their critique of Diane Carson’s cooking skills, particularly targeting her handling of a poussin. The celebrity chef duo were far from impressed with Carson’s performance, which left them questioning her culinary prowess.
Carson, who is best known for her role on The Traitors , entered the MasterChef kitchen alongside pop star Mutya Buena, professional dancer Vito Coppola, BBC Radio 2 presenter OJ Borg, and make-up artist Dominic Skinner. Despite these issues, Torode praised the kale’s spiciness and the dish’s overall flavor, yet he did not shy away from pointing out the “atrocious” carving.
Carson reflected on the challenge, admitting that she was aware carving would be a problem and conceded that her attempt was less than perfect but insisted that the flavor was satisfactory. She also shared that she felt a strong need to prove herself, especially after her son’s disparaging comments about her Sunday roasts on The Traitors .
