Arizona Senate Debate Highlights Heated Exchanges on Immigration, Abortion, and Election Integrity
In a highly anticipated debate, Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake faced off in the Arizona Senate race, where critical issues such as immigration, abortion rights, and election integrity took center stage. This debate, held on the first day of early in-person voting, is pivotal as it may shape the outcome of one of the most closely watched Senate races in the country.
Lake, a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, aggressively attacked Gallego's stance on immigration. She accused him of enabling an open border policy, which she claimed had led to a surge of migrants and compromised American security. In a fiery exchange, she blamed Gallego for what she described as his alignment with cartels, accusing him of making the state "a border state for everyone."
