Hurricane Milton Strengthens to Category 5, Poses Major Threat to Florida
Hurricane Milton has rapidly intensified, reaching the formidable Category 5 status with winds surpassing 175 mph. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has expanded the state of emergency to cover 51 counties, emphasizing the seriousness of Milton’s threat.
