The Malayalam and Tamil film industries were rocked this week by the tragic news of Nishadh Yusuf's untimely passing. Nishadh, an acclaimed film editor known for his innovative and impactful work, was found dead in his apartment in Kochi, reportedly by suicide. Early Wednesday morning, police responded to an alert from his wife, Shifa, who was concerned after Nishadh had not opened his door despite repeated calls. When authorities arrived and accessed the locked room, they discovered Nishadh hanging from a ceiling fan. Medical personnel later confirmed his death.
