Leo, known for his constant references to his "big old inheritance" and status as an art dealer, initially proposed to Brittany after being rejected by another contestant, Hannah Jiles. Despite Leo’s visible excitement about their engagement, Brittany hesitated to reciprocate those intense feelings, particularly when it came to saying "I love you" during their reveal. This subtle disconnect between them may have been one of the early signs that their relationship wasn't destined to go the distance.
The producers of Love Is Blind made the decision not to continue following Leo and Brittany's story, and the couple eventually parted ways shortly after filming. Showrunner Chris Coelen explained that when choosing which couples to follow, the team focuses on those they believe have the best chance of making it to the altar. In his words, "We felt, at the time, that the six couples we did end up following had a real shot to say ‘I do.’" Leo and Brittany, unfortunately, were deemed less likely to walk down the aisle.
Though fans were disappointed not to see more of the drama unfold, many believe the couple could have been "reality TV gold" if their relationship had continued on the show. Leo, with his frequent discussions of wealth, and Brittany, with her reluctance to fully invest, might have provided plenty of memorable moments.
While they weren't one of the six couples the producers chose to focus on, Leo and Brittany’s brief engagement added a layer of intrigue to this season’s mix of love, heartbreak, and revelations. Hopefully, we’ll get some answers during the reunion, where someone might finally ask Leo if he’s as rich as he claims!
