Chris McCausland Teams Up with Lee Mack for Festive Christmas Movie "Bad Tidings"
Chris McCausland, the popular comedian and current contestant on Strictly Come Dancing , has just secured an exciting new project that is set to grace our screens this holiday season. Bad Tidings is a delightful Christmas movie that centers around two feuding neighbors in Stockport. Lee Mack plays Neil, a home security expert who can’t stand his neighbor Scott, played by Chris. Scott, a blind man with a knack for causing trouble, refuses to take down his elaborate Christmas lights every year, and his endless pranks, like mixing up bins, drive Neil crazy. However, as the story unfolds, the two men’s rivalry takes an unexpected turn. Scott, much to Neil’s disbelief, becomes a beloved figure in the community and is appointed head of the Neighbourhood Watch. Neil, who struggles with the idea of someone with a visual impairment holding such a position, finds himself in conflict with Scott even more.
Tensions rise between the two when Neil accidentally causes a power outage, plunging the entire street into darkness. With the neighborhood’s security systems down and no lights, a group of notorious burglars seizes the opportunity to rob every house on the block. In a surprising twist, Neil and Scott must put aside their differences and team up to stop the thieves and save their neighborhood.
