Abbi Pulling Triumphs in F1 Academy, Secures Championship in Pivotal Season
Abbi Pulling has delivered a stellar performance in the 2024 F1 Academy series, securing the title in what has been a critical year for the young driver. At 21, Pulling clinched the championship in dominant fashion, marking the culmination of a season filled with challenges, growth, and triumphs. The 2024 F1 Academy title was secured with a stunning performance at the Qatar Grand Prix. Pulling's journey to the top included seven pole positions, seven race wins, and an impressive 11 podium finishes, making her points total of 263 unassailable by her nearest rival, Mercedes junior Doriane Pin, who finished the season with 178 points. The title was officially sealed when Pulling finished second in the opening race of the weekend, claiming the championship with three races to spare. This was a remarkable achievement for Pulling, especially given the tough season she endured in 2023 when she finished fifth overall.
