"Severe Winter Storm Strikes Québec: School Closures, Strong Winds, and Heavy Precipitation"
A major weather system is currently wreaking havoc across Québec, with snow, heavy rain, and violent winds sweeping through the region. The Ministry of Transport is warning drivers to be cautious and reduce speeds. For those in areas affected by the storm, several school closures have already been announced, especially in regions such as Kamouraska-Rivière-du-Loup, where approximately 30 schools have been shut down in response to the icy conditions. The situation is expected to worsen overnight, and Hydro-Québec is bracing for potential power disruptions.
