Shocking Incident: Pizza Delivery Driver Allegedly Stabs Pregnant Woman Over $2 Tip
In a startling and deeply unsettling case out of Kissimmee, Florida, a pizza delivery driver, identified as 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, faces serious charges after allegedly attacking a pregnant customer over a $2 tip. The incident took place at the Riviera Motel, where the victim was staying with her boyfriend and young daughter to celebrate a birthday.
According to police reports, the victim ordered a pizza from Marco's Pizza, costing approximately $33. When Alvelo arrived, the victim handed her a $50 bill and requested change, but Alvelo did not have it. After searching for smaller denominations, the victim ultimately tipped Alvelo $2. Reportedly dissatisfied, Alvelo left without a word but returned later that night with an unidentified accomplice.

The affidavit describes a horrifying sequence of events. Alvelo and the accomplice, dressed in black and wearing masks, forced their way into the motel room. The accomplice brandished a silver revolver, ordering the victim's boyfriend into the bathroom. Meanwhile, Alvelo began rummaging through the victim's belongings and destroyed her daughter’s Nintendo Switch.
When the victim attempted to shield her child, Alvelo attacked her with a pocketknife, delivering 14 stab wounds to her chest, arms, legs, and abdomen. The assault ended only when the accomplice shouted that it was time to leave. Afterward, the victim was rushed to the hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery for a punctured lung and other injuries. It was during her treatment that she discovered she was pregnant.
Alvelo has been charged with attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. She is currently being held on a $55,000 bond, with prosecutors pushing for her detention without bail. Investigators are still searching for the accomplice.
