According to sources familiar with the situation, Broccoli has expressed distrust in Amazon’s ability to handle the franchise appropriately. She has even gone so far as to call some of the tech company's executives "idiots" during private conversations.

One of the most significant points of contention is the idea of turning Bond into a streaming series. Amazon, eager to leverage its Prime Video platform, has reportedly proposed the idea of a Bond TV show or spin-offs, such as a potential Moneypenny series or even a female version of 007. However, Broccoli has strongly rejected these suggestions, reminding Amazon that her contract with MGM prevents such ventures. She has made it clear that she believes Bond should always be portrayed by a British man, and insists that the films should remain true to the traditional big-screen experience.
