Al-Hilal Dominate Al-Okhdood with a 4-0 Victory to Extend League Lead

Al-Hilal showed once again why they are the dominant force in the Saudi Pro League, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over Al-Okhdood. The win not only extended their lead at the top of the table but also reinforced their superiority over their struggling opponents.

From the very first whistle, Al-Hilal asserted their dominance. It took just four minutes for them to break the deadlock after a chaotic sequence in the box. A cross from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic caused problems for the Al-Okhdood defense, and after some frantic attempts to clear, Moteb Al Harbi drilled in a low cross that Kaio Cesar poked home. It was the perfect start for the hosts, and they never looked back.

As the first half progressed, Al-Hilal kept pushing for a second goal, and just before halftime, Milinkovic-Savic delivered a moment of magic. A stunning 30-yard free-kick curled past goalkeeper Paulo Vitor, leaving him helpless as the ball nestled into the net. The fans erupted in celebration, knowing their team was in full control.

The second half was all about Marcos Leonardo. The Brazilian forward showcased his poacher’s instincts, scoring twice to seal the victory. His first came just before halftime, capitalizing on a header from Hassan Al Tambakti that bounced awkwardly over the goalkeeper. Leonardo was in the perfect spot to tap it in. His second goal, and Al-Hilal’s fourth, came early in the second half when Al Harbi’s shot was parried away by Vitor, only for Leonardo to react quickest and volley it home.

Al-Okhdood did show some fight, with Mohammed Al Jahif rattling the post with a long-range effort, but it was too little, too late. Al-Hilal’s defense remained resolute, securing a clean sheet and ensuring their dominance was never in doubt.

This win pushed Al-Hilal four points clear at the top of the table, with their goal difference now at an impressive +40. Their head-to-head record against Al-Okhdood remains perfect, having won every encounter without conceding a single goal. The result also saw Milinkovic-Savic continue his excellent form, as he has now scored more goals against Al-Okhdood than any other opponent. Meanwhile, Leonardo’s brace took his league tally to eight goals in 2025, making him the league’s top scorer this year.

With this dominant display, Al-Hilal have once again sent a strong message to the rest of the league. Their title charge is in full force, and with performances like this, it will take something special to stop them.
