Measure E Funding Brings Positive Change for CCUSD – Culver City Schools On the Path to Improvement
In recent months, the Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) has been making strides in improving its facilities, thanks to Measure E funding. This bond measure, passed by voters, has provided crucial financial resources to address much-needed repairs and upgrades across various school sites. In addition, the construction of a new metal shade structure at CCHS has also been finalized, providing much-needed relief from the hot California sun during outdoor activities.

One complication arose during the shade structure installation when the sewer line needed to be rerouted to avoid interference with the structure's foundation. Despite these hurdles, the project was completed later than initially planned, wrapping up in December, just in time for students to enjoy the benefits of these improvements.
The Measure E funds have been instrumental in addressing long-standing maintenance issues, and the progress made so far highlights the district’s commitment to providing safe, modern, and well-equipped learning environments.
