Avatar: Seven Havens – A New Chapter in the Avatar Universe
Big news for Avatar fans! Nickelodeon has officially announced Avatar: Seven Havens , a brand-new animated series set in the rich universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender . This new show takes place after The Legend of Korra and will introduce us to a completely fresh chapter in the Avatar saga.
The series, produced by Avatar Studios and created by the original masterminds Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will consist of 26 episodes split into two seasons—just like the classic Avatar structure. Sounds intense, right? This darker, more mysterious take on the Avatar world could be one of the most thrilling additions to the franchise yet. DiMartino and Konietzko have expressed their excitement about expanding the Avatarverse, promising fans another emotional, action-packed adventure filled with brand-new characters and deep storytelling.
This marks the third major animated series in the Avatar franchise, following The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra . But that's not all! A new animated movie focusing on Aang and the original Team Avatar is also set to hit theaters in early 2026.
