Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson Reunite for Outlaw Music Festival 2025
Big news for music lovers! Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson are hitting the road again for the 2025 Outlaw Music Festival , and this year’s tour is bigger than ever. The legendary duo will bring an incredible lineup of artists to cities across the U.S., celebrating the festival’s so-called 10th anniversary. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits, fresh surprises, and unforgettable live performances.
Dylan, a relentless road warrior, will take the stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre on June 20 , joining Nelson & Family, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles, and Myron Elkins . This marks a major moment for Dylan, who’s been enjoying a surge in popularity thanks to the success of the biopic A Complete Unknown , starring Timothée Chalamet. With eight Oscar nominations, the film has reignited interest in Dylan’s life and music, attracting a whole new generation of fans.
Willie Nelson, at 91 years young , is still going strong. He launched the Outlaw Music Festival back in 2016 as a single event in Pennsylvania, but it quickly grew into a full-fledged national tour by 2017. Dylan was part of that first touring lineup and made a return last year, playing the full run for the first time. The 2024 tour was a hit, despite Nelson having to miss some shows due to health concerns, with his son Lukas Nelson stepping in to keep the spirit alive.

The 2025 festival kicks off May 13 in Phoenix, Arizona , and runs through September 19 in East Troy, Wisconsin . Along the way, the lineup will rotate, featuring heavy hitters like Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Billy Strings, the Avett Brothers, Lake Street Dive, Lucinda Williams, and more .
Dylan and Nelson are the only two artists playing every show, keeping the heart of the festival intact. And for longtime fans, Dylan’s setlist has been a fascinating mix—last year, he ditched songs from his Rough and Rowdy Ways album and instead threw in unexpected covers like Chuck Berry’s Little Queenie and Dewayne Blackwell’s Mr. Blue , alongside classics like Ballad of a Thin Man and Love Sick .
Tickets for the Outlaw Music Festival go on sale February 7 through Ticketmaster, with Citi cardholder presales starting February 4 . VIP packages will also be available for those looking to get the full festival experience.
For fans of classic rock, folk, and country, this tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest musical events of the year. Whether you're a lifelong Dylan devotee, a Willie Nelson fan, or just love live music, this is one festival you won’t want to miss.
