Pratt, now 45, explained that every time he welcomes a new child into the world, his father-in-law, Schwarzenegger, shows up with a Cuban cigar. “He’s always smoking—on set, in his car, in my living room,” Pratt joked. Despite knowing he shouldn’t be anywhere near cigar smoke due to his asthma, he admitted, “I do it anyway, because, well, it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger .” The result? A lung infection that strikes about a week later. “It’s a nice little ritual we have,” he said with a laugh, though his health suggests otherwise.
This revelation has left fans both amused and concerned. Pratt, who is now a father of four, including his newborn son Ford, seems to take the issue lightly, but recurring lung infections are no joke—especially for someone with a history of asthma.
Meanwhile, Pratt is gearing up for his next big project, The Electric State , set to premiere on Netflix in March. Interestingly, he admitted that he initially wanted to decline the role, hoping for some time off after a packed work schedule. “I was ready to take an extended break,” he shared, but his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, convinced him otherwise. “She either really loves me or just wanted me out of the house,” he quipped.
