LG Recalls Over 130,000 Stoves in Canada Due to Fire Hazard

LG Electronics Canada, in partnership with Health Canada, has issued a massive recall on more than 130,000 electric ranges due to a potential fire hazard. The issue? Faulty front-mounted knobs that can be accidentally turned on. The recall applies to LG Slide-In and Freestanding Electric Ranges sold between May 2016 and June 2024 . According to reports, at least eight incidents and two injuries have already been recorded in Canada, including a minor burn and a small cut.
