Randy Meyer, who passed away 18 years ago, continues to be remembered with love by his family and friends. They shared a touching message, reflecting on the passage of time and the memories that still bring both joy and sorrow. They recall his passion for racing, his unwavering spirit, and his famous words—"don’t sweat the little stuff, it isn’t worth it." Even after all these years, his presence is felt, and those who loved him continue to honor him in their own ways. In memory of Randy, loved ones are invited to plant a tree, a lasting tribute that symbolizes life and growth.
Barbara Lampron, who sadly passed away at the age of 74, leaves behind a loving family and a lifetime of cherished moments. A devoted wife to André for 48 years, a mother, grandmother, and even great-grandmother, Barbara’s life was filled with love, warmth, and kindness. She had a knack for finding the perfect gifts, a talent for sewing and creating, and a love for gardening and reading mystery novels. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with family, sharing laughter, traditions, and deep conversations. A visitation will be held to honor her, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are encouraged.
These tributes are a beautiful reminder that the people we love never truly leave us. Their lessons, their laughter, and their love continue to shape our lives long after they’re gone. Whether it’s planting a tree in their memory, sharing stories, or simply holding onto the values they lived by, we find ways to keep their spirit alive. The Windsor Star provides a space for these reflections, giving families and friends an opportunity to celebrate the lives of those they miss and cherish.
Life moves forward, but love and memories remain. Through these heartfelt messages, we’re reminded to treasure every moment with those around us and to honor those we’ve lost by living with the same warmth and kindness they shared with us.
