Trump’s AI-Generated ‘Gaza Vision’ Sparks Outrage on Truth Social
Donald Trump is once again at the center of controversy after sharing an AI-generated video on his social media platform, Truth Social. The bizarre clip, which imagines a futuristic Gaza transformed into a luxury resort, has sparked backlash—even among his staunchest supporters.
The video, titled "Gaza 2025 … what’s next?" presents an extravagant redevelopment plan for the war-torn region, complete with high-rise buildings, lavish yachts, and money raining down from the sky. Trump himself is depicted as a glorified figure, with towering golden statues and even children holding balloons shaped like his head. The most shocking elements include a topless Benjamin Netanyahu lounging poolside with Trump, bearded bellydancers performing on the sand, and Elon Musk making cameo appearances—first eating flatbread, then dancing under a shower of cash.
The AI-generated lyrics accompanying the video add to its surreal nature: “Donald’s coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see. No more tunnels, no more fear: Trump Gaza’s finally here.” The entire scene plays out like a promotional ad for a Trump-branded real estate venture, with an underlying message that the U.S. should “own” Gaza.

However, the reaction to the video has been far from positive. Many users on Truth Social, including Trump’s loyal Christian base, have condemned it as distasteful and blasphemous. Some took issue with the golden statues, comparing them to idolatry, while others were appalled by the nightclub scene featuring Trump dancing with a bellydancer. One user pleaded, “The statue is a symbol of the antichrist. Please humble yourself to God. Jesus is king and only Him.” Others simply called the video “sick” and “filth.”
Even Trump’s most dedicated supporters seemed unsettled. “I could not be a bigger supporter of President Trump, but this video is in very poor taste,” one person commented. Another warned, “Don’t let it get to your head. God put you in that position for His glory, not yours.”
The video also carries serious political implications. Trump’s so-called “Riviera of the Middle East” plan for Gaza has already been met with fierce rejection from Middle Eastern nations, including Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Critics argue it amounts to a blueprint for ethnic cleansing, as it envisions a future in which Gaza’s current population is seemingly “cleaned out.”
Meanwhile, Israel continues to face genocide allegations at the International Criminal Court, with Prime Minister Netanyahu under scrutiny for war crimes in the region. The war in Gaza, which began after Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, has led to nearly 50,000 Palestinian deaths, mostly civilians. With such a grim reality on the ground, many see Trump’s AI fantasy as not just offensive but dangerously out of touch.
It remains unclear who originally created the video, as it had circulated online before Trump shared it. What is clear, however, is that this latest stunt has struck a nerve—even among those who usually stand by him. Whether Trump will respond to the backlash or simply move on to the next controversy is anyone’s guess.
