Coles has issued an urgent recall for its Kitchen Chicken and Salad Sandwich (194g) due to an undeclared milk allergen, posing a serious risk to those with milk allergies or intolerances. The affected product was sold in stores and online across Victoria between February 27 and 28 , with a use-by date of March 2 .

Customers with milk allergies are being urged not to consume the sandwich, as it could trigger an allergic reaction. Coles has apologized for the labeling error and is offering full refunds to affected customers. The recall applies to stores in South Melbourne, Glenferrie, Camberwell, Balwyn North, Fitzroy, Brighton, St Kilda, Toorak Village, Normanby Road, and Surrey Hills .
Coles released a statement emphasizing customer safety:
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Customers who have purchased the product can return it to any Coles supermarket or Coles Local store for a full refund. Online customers can also receive a refund or credit by contacting Coles Online Customer Care."
