Nitish Kumar Reddy Stays Loyal to Sunrisers Hyderabad Amidst IPL 2025 Auction Offers
Nitish Kumar Reddy has made a bold and heartfelt statement about his commitment to Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite receiving offers from multiple franchises ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Speaking openly about the offers, Reddy shared that several franchises wanted him to enter the auction, but he never seriously considered leaving SRH. “I got some offers, but I never wanted to leave Sunrisers Hyderabad. It is a home franchise for me,” Reddy stated. “I want to perform for SRH and win the IPL trophy. They have shown faith in me, and it is my time to deliver for the franchise. There were some talks from other franchises to get me into the auction, but I was looking forward to playing for SRH.”
This commitment comes on the back of an impressive IPL 2024 season where he scored 303 runs in 13 matches, averaging 33.67 with a strike rate of 142.92. Additionally, he contributed with three crucial wickets. His performances were instrumental in SRH reaching the finals, although they fell short against Kolkata Knight Riders.
