Alright, spoiler alert! The answer to today’s Wordle is ELBOW . A solid word and a great one to test your skills! My first guess, CRONE, helped narrow things down significantly, and my second attempt, MOTEL, further cut the possible answers. Finally, ELBOW turned out to be the winner!
For those keeping score, I managed to solve it in three guesses today. That gives me 1 point according to the competitive Wordle scoring system. Since I beat Wordle Bot, I earn another point. That brings my March total to 25, while the Bot sits at just 6 points. Not too shabby!
A quick etymology lesson for the word “elbow” – it originates from Old English “elnboga,” a combination of “eln” (an old unit of measure based on the forearm’s length) and “boga” (meaning bend or bow). Over time, it evolved into the word we use today.
