Urgent Shampoo Recall: Deadly Bacteria Found in Popular Brand

The recalled shampoo bottles have an expiration date of May 27, 2027, and a lot code of 1G27542266 . If you have this product at home, stop using it immediately. As of now, no illnesses have been reported, but it’s crucial to stay cautious.
The recall has been classified as Class II by the FDA. This means that while the health consequences are not always severe, they could still cause temporary or medically reversible issues. However, for those with weakened immune systems or chronic conditions, the risks are significantly higher. If the bacteria enters the body through the bloodstream, it could lead to serious infections, pneumonia-like symptoms, fever, chills, abdominal pain, and even sepsis.
This is not the first time Tec Italy has faced contamination issues. Earlier this year, another shampoo from their line—Tec Italy Tonico Shampoo—was recalled due to possible E. coli contamination. This raises some serious concerns about product safety and quality control.
