As we reflect on the spirit of giving this Easter, there’s no better example than the heartwarming generosity pouring in across Victoria for the Good Friday Appeal 2025 . With more than $2 million already raised , this year’s appeal is not only a testament to the kindness of Victorians, but also a celebration of hope, resilience, and community strength.

When you think about the impact of these donations, stories like baby Skye’s come to life. Born with a rare liver condition called biliary atresia , Skye's first months were anything but easy. Her parents, Martin and Stephanie, spent countless sleepless nights awaiting the call that could save their daughter’s life. And eventually, that call came. A liver was available, and Skye received the gift of life. While their relief was immeasurable, their hearts also ached for the family who had lost a loved one to make that possible. It’s a powerful reminder of how organ donation and community support intertwine to create miracles.
