Bonnaroo 2025 Canceled, But the Music Marches On in Nashville
Hey y’all, big news that hit the music scene this week—Bonnaroo 2025 was officially canceled due to extreme weather. I know, it’s heartbreaking. We all look forward to that magical weekend in Manchester every year, but Mother Nature had other plans. The announcement came on June 13, just as the festival was ramping up. Torrential rains and dangerous flooding conditions forced organizers to shut it down midway through, prioritizing safety for both fans and performers.
The statement from Bonnaroo’s team was full of emotion—they said they had put their “hearts and souls” into this weekend, and you could feel just how crushed they were. But in true Bonnaroovian spirit, the show must go on… just not on The Farm .

So here’s the silver lining—many of the artists originally set to perform at Bonnaroo didn’t pack up and head home. Nope, instead, they pivoted and are bringing the party straight to Nashville, just 65 miles north. We’re talking last-minute, pop-up gigs across some of the city’s top venues. And honestly? It’s shaping up to be one heck of a weekend in Music City.
You’ve got RL Grime performing at Barstool Nashville on June 14. Cannery Hall is going off with back-to-back performances: Of The Trees, Tape B, and Detox Unit are hitting the stage late night on June 13, and Jack’s Mannequin—originally set for the Other Tent—is stepping in on June 15. Then there’s Remi Wolf’s funky '70s Superjam, now landing at Brooklyn Bowl on June 14. Special guests? Maybe. Surprise appearances are totally on the table.
Meanwhile, EDM trio Levity and Inzo are turning up at The Pinnacle. Their sets were canceled on The Farm, but they’re making sure fans still get the beats and bass they came for.
While we’re all still reeling from the sudden cancellation, it’s been amazing to see how quickly the community bounced back. Artists are finding stages, fans are showing up, and the energy hasn’t skipped a beat. This isn’t just a backup plan—it’s become a unique, unexpected experience that’s bringing everyone even closer together.
So if you were planning to Bonnaroo this year and felt like the dream was lost—don’t count it out yet. The music lives on, just a little farther up the road.
