Costco Executive Members Now Get Early Access and Monthly Perks
Have you heard the latest from Costco? If you’re an Executive Member, there’s a pretty exciting update you’ll want to know about. Costco has just rolled out a fresh set of perks exclusively for Executive Members, and these changes are about to make your membership even more valuable—especially if you love getting a head start on your shopping.
Starting June 30, Costco Executive Members will be able to enter the warehouse an hour earlier than regular members. That’s right—doors will open at 9 a.m. from Monday to Friday, giving Executive Members the first crack at everything from electronics to fresh produce before the crowds roll in. Weekend hours have also been adjusted. On Saturdays, Executive Members get a little more shopping time in the morning, and all members benefit from an extended closing time—warehouses will now stay open until 7 p.m.

But that’s not all. There’s a new monthly credit, too. If you place an order of $150 or more using Costco’s Same-Day delivery service or through Instacart, Executive Members will now receive a $10 digital credit. That adds up quickly if you're regularly stocking up on groceries, office supplies, or anything else Costco offers through its delivery services. It’s a nice little reward for doing what you were probably already doing.
These new benefits come on top of the already solid advantages of an Executive Membership. For $130 a year, you get all the Gold Star perks, including access to the warehouse, fuel stations, and a free household card. Plus, there’s the annual 2% reward on qualified purchases and extra discounts on a range of Costco services—from travel to insurance.
It’s clear Costco is doubling down on the value it provides to its most loyal customers. If you’re already an Executive Member, these changes are a solid win. And if you’re not, it might be time to consider upgrading. Earlier shopping hours and monthly credits could easily pay for the difference in membership costs—especially if you shop regularly or use Costco’s delivery options.
So, next time you’re planning your big shop, remember—getting there early might just mean beating the rush and unlocking a few extra perks while you’re at it. Not a bad way to start the day.
