Around 11:15 PM, she was about to get into an auto-rickshaw outside Ghatkopar Railway Station when a speeding car came out of nowhere and rammed into it from behind. The sheer impact was so strong that the auto turned turtle, pinning Aishwarya beneath it. She suffered injuries to her hands, legs, and multiple parts of her body, and the auto driver wasn't spared either—he got injured too.
What’s perhaps even more shocking than the accident itself is what the car driver did next—he simply fled the scene. Didn’t stop, didn’t check if anyone was okay, didn’t offer help. He just vanished into the night. But here’s the twist: in a stroke of what can only be described as accidental luck, the car's number plate didn’t survive the crash either. Three days after the incident, still healing from her injuries, Aishwarya managed to file a complaint at Pant Nagar Police Station. And now, Mumbai Police are using that very number plate to track down the car’s owner. They’ve already contacted the Regional Transport Office to identify who the vehicle belongs to. An officer confirmed that it’s only a matter of time before the driver is arrested.
