Arnold Schwarzenegger Returns in Surprise 'Predator' Epilogue Scene
You won’t believe what just dropped at San Diego Comic-Con — Arnold Schwarzenegger is officially back in the Predator universe! Yep, you heard that right. A brand-new cut of the animated film Predator: Killer of Killers , which just hit Hulu, now includes an epic epilogue scene that fans have been buzzing about. This surprise moment was revealed during a packed Hall H panel and left the crowd stunned.

So here’s what went down. The epilogue features none other than Schwarzenegger’s iconic character, Dutch, from the original 1987 Predator movie, making a dramatic reappearance. And he’s not alone — Danny Glover’s character, Lieutenant Mike Harrigan from Predator 2 , is also shown, along with a glimpse of Naru, the lead warrior from Prey . These legacy characters are seen inside mysterious floating coffins being carried by Predator warriors. It’s a quiet but powerful scene that immediately sent fans into speculation mode about what’s next.
The scene was only made possible because director Dan Trachtenberg had a breakfast meeting with Arnie himself — and yes, they really did have waffles. Trachtenberg joked about the moment, while Kevin Smith, moderating the panel, couldn’t help but throw in a “Get to the waffles!” line, riffing off Schwarzenegger’s legendary “Get to the choppa!” quote. Schwarzenegger gave his blessing to use his likeness, making Dutch’s return officially part of the franchise canon.
The film itself, Killer of Killers , is an anthology that follows three warriors — a Viking mother, a feudal ninja, and a WWII pilot — each facing brutal conflicts in their own time. But the twist? They're all being hunted by the ultimate killer: the Predator. It’s gritty, stylized, and animated with cinematic flair. Dan Trachtenberg co-directed it with Josh Wassung of The Third Floor animation studio.
And just when fans thought the panel was over, Trachtenberg teased that this epilogue might not be the end of Dutch’s journey. There’s talk of “cooking up more stuff” for the character, which could hint at future appearances — maybe even in the upcoming Predator: Badlands , which hits theaters November 7. That one stars Elle Fanning and features a Predator as the protagonist for the first time ever.
So if you’re a longtime fan of the series, it’s time to jump back in. With Dutch back in the mix and the franchise heading in bold new directions, Predator is far from finished — in fact, it feels like it's just getting started again.
