Travis Kelce’s Sticky, Shirtless Debut in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Goes Viral
So, you won’t believe the kind of scene that’s grabbing everyone’s attention in Happy Gilmore 2 . It involves none other than NFL star Travis Kelce — and let’s just say, things get a little… sticky. Literally.
In one of the wildest and most unexpected cameos in the new Netflix comedy sequel, Kelce appears wearing nothing but an apron. Yep, you heard that right — just an apron. And that’s not even the craziest part. In this scene, Bad Bunny, whose character Oscar becomes Happy Gilmore’s new caddy, completely slathers Kelce in honey. It’s part of a bizarre fantasy sequence where Oscar imagines his “happy place” — a nod to a recurring gag from the original film. In his dream, The Waiter — that’s Kelce’s character — gets tied to a pole, honey-drenched, and prepared as bear food.
Oscar then calmly snaps out of the fantasy and declares, “OK, I’m happy.” Classic Happy Gilmore absurdity, turned up several notches.

Travis Kelce, best known as the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, plays the grumpy restaurant boss who fires Oscar early in the movie. His short but memorable role makes quite the impression — and not just because of the honey bath. The scene has already gone viral, and it’s being talked about for its hilarious shock value and Kelce’s surprising comic timing.
Interestingly, Kelce is still pretty new to acting. He made his debut just last year in Ryan Murphy’s horror series Grotesquerie . Even though he had no formal acting background, his co-stars praised his willingness to learn and collaborate. Niecy Nash-Betts, one of the series’ leads, said Kelce never acted like he had it all figured out, and was always open to feedback.
Apparently, acting is something Kelce has always wanted to try. His mom mentioned at the Grotesquerie premiere that he’d been curious about it for a while, and with the support of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, he finally took the leap. In fact, Murphy said Swift was all for it — encouraging Kelce to give it a shot, as long as he was passionate about it. And based on the early buzz from Happy Gilmore 2 , it looks like that support paid off.
Alongside Kelce and Bad Bunny, the movie also features a stack of celebrity cameos — we’re talking Eminem, Kid Cudi, Post Malone, and Alix Earle. The premiere, held in New York City, was packed with stars and plenty of laughs.
If this scene is any indication, Happy Gilmore 2 might just become one of those wild cult comedies people keep quoting for years.
