Trump Dismisses 'Bawdy' Epstein Letter as Fake in Latest Wall Street Journal Report
So, let’s talk about one of the latest bombshells making headlines again—this time involving Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and a rather scandalous letter that just resurfaced. According to a Wall Street Journal report, part of the unreleased Epstein files includes a bawdy letter allegedly written by Trump back in 2003 for Epstein’s 50th birthday. And the details? Well, they’re raising a lot of eyebrows.
Here’s what’s being reported: Ghislaine Maxwell had apparently reached out to a bunch of Epstein’s friends and acquaintances, asking them to contribute birthday messages for a leather-bound album. Among those contributions was a letter attributed to Trump. The Journal says that the document, which was reviewed by their reporters, featured a few lines of typewritten text—surrounded by the outline of a naked woman, supposedly drawn with a heavy marker. And here’s the kicker: the signature at the bottom is described as a squiggly “Donald,” drawn in a way that mimics pubic hair.
Yeah. That’s the level of bizarre we’re dealing with.

Now, Trump, unsurprisingly, is denying the entire thing. In an interview with the Journal, he flat-out said, “This is not me. This is a fake thing.” He called the whole report fabricated and even accused the Wall Street Journal—owned by his longtime ally Rupert Murdoch—of pushing falsehoods. He didn't stop there, though. Trump also told reporters that the Epstein files might have been manufactured during the Obama and Biden administrations, and he floated the idea of an FBI investigation into what he now calls the “Jeffrey Epstein hoax.”
It’s important to point out that the letter was reportedly reviewed by the Department of Justice during their investigation into Epstein and Maxwell. That gives the document some legal weight, whether or not it’s authentic.
This story doesn’t exist in a vacuum, either. There’s a growing chorus of voices pushing for the full release of Epstein’s files—something Trump, notably, has resisted. And with his name now attached to an allegedly graphic and personal document, the pressure is only building.
So whether it’s fake, exaggerated, or the real deal, this letter and the context surrounding it are bringing back old controversies at the worst possible time for Trump. One thing’s for sure—this isn’t the end of the Epstein saga. Not even close.
