Denise Richards’ Dog Drama Sparks Police Visit Amid Divorce Turmoil

So here’s the latest in the ongoing—and frankly, increasingly messy—divorce drama between Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers. Over the weekend, things escalated in a way that led to a police visit, and it all started with a dog. Yes, a dog.

Denise reportedly showed up at Aaron’s home in Calabasas, which he currently shares with his parents and brother. She went there to retrieve one of their dogs, claiming she had recently discovered that Aaron had put down one of her other dogs without her permission or even letting her know. Understandably, she was upset—but the situation quickly spiraled.

Now, here’s where it gets tricky. Denise currently has a restraining order against Aaron, which means the two legally need to stay at least 100 yards apart. According to sources close to Aaron, she didn’t just knock on the door and ask politely. Instead, it’s said she went around back, banged on the door, and demanded to be let in. Aaron, seeing this unfold, decided to leave the premises immediately to avoid violating the restraining order himself.

Despite that, Denise was let inside by Aaron’s parents. Once in, she allegedly got very confrontational—shouting at his parents to get out of the house, pointing her finger in their faces, and even going after Aaron’s brother. Reports say she swung at him and threw mail in his direction. It wasn’t exactly a calm retrieval of a pet.

Photos captured Denise in the driveway, visibly animated and speaking with at least three sheriff’s deputies. From her side, she said she was only there to get the dog and didn’t do anything illegal. Her lawyer has since clarified that she waited to confirm Aaron wasn’t at the house before entering. He also denied that she broke any laws or violated the restraining order.

Aaron, on the other hand, released a strong statement calling her behavior deliberate and destructive. He accused her of slander and said she’s been trying to tear apart what’s left of their family—adding some very personal allegations about past affairs.

Ultimately, no arrests were made, and police concluded that no crime had occurred. Still, Aaron’s family, including his 83-year-old mother, were reportedly terrified by the ordeal. And from the looks of it, this divorce saga is far from over.
