Katie Miller Leaves Elon Musk Role to Launch Conservative Moms Podcast

Katie Miller, well known in political and media circles, has stepped away from her position as a top aide to Elon Musk to embark on something entirely new — a podcast aimed specifically at conservative mothers. The show, simply titled The Katie Miller Podcast , is set to premiere next Monday and will drop weekly episodes. According to Miller, the goal is to create “real, honest conversations” with guests from across the political spectrum, sprinkled with a bit of lighthearted gossip and commentary on current happenings — all from her perspective as a conservative wife, mother, and career woman who values healthy living and fitness.

In her introductory video, Miller explained that she felt there was no real online gathering place for conservative women, so she decided to build one herself. While politics will not be the podcast’s primary focus, the debut episode will feature a 45-minute sit-down with Vice President JD Vance — a conversation that, she emphasized, didn’t touch on the day’s headlines. Instead, it explored who Vance is as a husband, father, and individual, even delving into what his kids think he does for a living.

Future episodes are expected to feature guests such as boxing legend Mike Tyson and podcaster Sage Steele, who left ESPN in 2023 after settling a lawsuit against the network over alleged retaliation for her personal views. This mix of high-profile personalities suggests Miller is aiming for a broad, conversation-driven format rather than a purely political platform.

Miller’s professional background has been steeped in politics. She served as communications director for Vice President Mike Pence during the Trump administration’s first term and later became a senior spokesperson for Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency in 2025. Even after leaving that government role, she continued to work closely with Musk. Her departure marks another notable exit from Musk’s circle, following Linda Yaccarino’s resignation as X’s CEO in July.

In interviews, Miller has pointed out that while the conservative podcast market is crowded, it is overwhelmingly male-led. She sees a gap for lifestyle-oriented, culturally engaged content that still resonates with conservative values — something akin to the massive success of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy , but tailored for her audience. Her ambition is not just to entertain but to influence cultural conversations by speaking directly to women, a demographic she believes is pivotal for shaping society.

Miller, who is married to former Trump adviser Stephen Miller, credits her husband’s support and shared vision for the MAGA movement as a motivating factor. In her words, “In order to change culture, you have to talk to the women.” With that mission in mind, she is stepping into the media spotlight on her own terms, hoping to build a space where conservative women feel seen, heard, and connected.
