Miles Morales Enters the Ultimate X-Men Universe in a Major Marvel Crossover
So here’s something super exciting out of the Marvel multiverse — Miles Morales is officially crossing paths with the Ultimate X-Men in a huge multiverse event called Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion ! Yeah, this is big.
For those who’ve been keeping up, Miles Morales has always been kind of a multiverse survivor. He originally came from the now-destroyed Ultimate Universe, but he’s since made a name for himself in the main Marvel timeline, the 616 Universe. But now, Marvel has spun up a new Ultimate Universe , and we’re two years into its storytelling — which means it's prime time for a crossover event.

In Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion , Miles is on a deeply personal mission: he’s searching for his younger sister, Billie , who’s gone missing in this unfamiliar universe. That journey has already taken him through encounters with alternate versions of Spider-Man — including Peter and Richard Parker — as well as the Ultimates, and even Black Panther in Wakanda. But now? He's found himself in Japan, a region called Hi no Kuni in this world, where things start to get really interesting.
T’Challa had tracked Billie’s energy signature to this area, so naturally, that’s where Miles goes next. But he’s feeling the pressure. The longer he searches without finding her, the more doubt creeps in. He’s been helped by heroes, sure — but most of them feel… off. There’s something not quite right about them. The only ones Miles truly trusts so far are Peter and Richard.
Now here’s where the X-Men come in. While in Japan, Miles comes across Mei Igarashi and Nico Minoru , characters from the Ultimate X-Men comics. They’re having this fun little back-and-forth about whether Nico’s dark attire makes her look like a witch or just a goth. But things escalate fast when Nico’s magical staff starts glowing with purple energy — clearly reacting to something nearby. Mei summons a gust of wind, and boom — Miles is revealed hiding in a tree. That’s where the preview for issue #3 leaves off, but it looks like this trio might be teaming up soon.
Oh, and it’s not just small talk. This crossover could lead to major revelations — not just for Miles, but for the entire cast of Ultimate characters. The creative team has been dropping hints that these events could have ripple effects into the 616 Universe too. So, fans of Miles should absolutely keep an eye on this.
