Stevie Nicks Reschedules Tour After Shoulder Injury

So, there’s been a bit of a shake-up for fans of Stevie Nicks. The legendary singer-songwriter has had to press pause on a big chunk of her 2025 tour due to an unexpected injury—a fractured shoulder. Yeah, pretty unfortunate timing. It was announced through her official social media pages that the injury will keep her off the road for a while, specifically forcing the rescheduling of all her concerts that were planned for August and September.

Now, before anyone panics—October dates are totally safe. Those will go on as planned, starting with a show in Portland, Oregon on October 1st. But if you were planning to see her in places like New York, Boston, Detroit, Toronto, or Tampa in the earlier months, you'll need to adjust your calendar. Those shows are being bumped to November and December. The good news is, if you've already got tickets, you're covered. All original tickets will still be honored on the new dates.

Stevie’s team emphasized that this was purely a health and recovery situation. Touring is no small feat, especially with the kind of energy she brings to every performance. And as she said in a past Rolling Stone interview, she genuinely loves being on stage. That’s where she tells her stories, connects with people, and feels most alive. So stepping back—even temporarily—isn’t something she would do lightly.

In the same message, she also made a point to thank her fans for understanding and apologized for the inconvenience. You could tell it wasn’t just a PR line—she truly values the connection she has with her audience.

Originally, this tour was supposed to roll through several major cities in late summer, following what would’ve been a co-headlining date with Billy Joel in Detroit. That part of the schedule had already shifted earlier this year after Billy had to cancel due to his own health concerns. So this adds another twist to what’s been a bit of a rollercoaster for ticket holders.

Still, fans remain loyal and patient. After all, Stevie Nicks isn’t just any performer—she’s a rock icon, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, and still going strong in her 70s. It’s impressive that she continues to tour with such passion. This little detour may delay things a bit, but come fall, she’ll be back under the lights, spinning tales and probably dancing again—just like she always has.
