Ford Everest Recalled Over Tow Bar Hitch Defect

The company is asking anyone with an affected vehicle to schedule an appointment with their nearest authorised dealer. The inspection and repair will be carried out free of charge, so there’s no cost involved for customers.
This recall is especially important for people who use their Everest for towing on long road trips or off-road adventures. A defective hitch could be far more dangerous in remote areas, where help isn’t always close by.
