Fugitive Father Tom Phillips Killed in Police Shootout
For nearly four years, the story of Tom Phillips has captivated New Zealand and beyond. Phillips, a father of three, vanished into the rugged Waikato wilderness just before Christmas in 2021. He fled with his children—Jayda, Maverick, and Ember—after a custody dispute with their mother.
