Hulk Hogan’s $5M Estate Sparks Shock as Brooke Left Out of Will
The legendary wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, who passed away in July at the age of 71, has left behind a fortune valued at nearly $5 million — but one shocking detail is now making headlines. According to court documents recently filed by his son Nick Hogan, the estate does not list Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, as a beneficiary. Instead, Nick is named the sole heir, with Hogan’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, recognized as his surviving spouse.
The paperwork shows that Hogan’s assets include about $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, plus rights to his publicity worth an estimated $4 million. On top of that, there is a pending medical malpractice claim believed to add further value. Notably, his Clearwater Beach real estate — two side-by-side homes worth over $11 million — was not mentioned in the documents, possibly because they are tied up in trusts or LLCs.

The decision to exclude Brooke came as a surprise to many fans, but insiders reported to TMZ that this might have been her own choice. Sources claimed that Brooke had requested not to be included in her father’s will, insisting she didn’t want to inherit money after his passing. Still, the revelation stirred conversations, as the father–daughter relationship had been a major part of Hogan’s public persona for years.
Meanwhile, Nick has taken on significant responsibility as the personal representative of the estate. In his filings, he asked for Terry McCoy to be appointed as curator to handle ongoing legal disputes. One of the major battles centers around Bubba the Love Sponge, who is connected to Hogan’s infamous sex tape. Nick filed a lawsuit to prevent the tape from being used in a documentary, claiming it infringed on his father’s copyrights.
Hogan’s passing on July 24 shocked both his family and the wrestling community. The official cause of death was listed as acute myocardial infarction, or heart attack, at his Florida home. This came just weeks after undergoing neck surgery, which his widow now believes may not have been properly performed. She has expressed intentions to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against the doctors involved.
Despite the legal and financial wrangling, Hogan’s children have shared heartfelt tributes. Nick described his father as his “hero, mentor, and best friend,” while Brooke wrote that their bond remained unbroken, even in his final moments. His ex-wife Linda also admitted she was blindsided by his sudden passing, recalling that she thought he would recover.
In the end, while Hogan’s estate details reveal twists and disputes, the love from his family and fans remains constant. His legacy as one of wrestling’s most recognizable figures continues to be celebrated, even as the future of his estate unfolds in courtrooms and headlines.
