Married At First Sight UK 2025 Episode Schedule Revealed

Married At First Sight UK has made its big return for 2025, and fans are already buzzing. The series officially kicked off on Sunday, September 21st, and this time, the schedule has been given a little shake-up. Normally, we’re used to the show airing Monday through Thursday on E4, but for the first time ever, it’s been launched on a Sunday. That means viewers got an extra night of drama to start the season, which is never a bad thing for a show like this.

This year, 18 brand-new brides and grooms are stepping into the experiment, all matched by the familiar expert team—Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas. As usual, the couples don’t meet until they walk down the aisle, which always makes for some of the most awkward, heartwarming, and sometimes jaw-dropping television moments. After those whirlwind weddings, the pairs are whisked away on honeymoons, before moving into their shared apartments where the real test begins—dinner parties, commitment ceremonies, and everything in between.

The season is expected to run for around nine weeks, which has been the pattern in recent years. Episodes air at 9pm on E4 and are also available to stream on Channel4.com for those who prefer to catch up online. But it’s worth knowing that while you’ll get your dose of MAFS UK from Sunday to Thursday each week, there won’t be new episodes on Fridays or Saturdays. Instead, E4 will fill those slots with repeats, and fans can rewatch the drama or catch up if they’ve missed something.

Episode lengths will vary this season. Some will run for about an hour, but the opening episodes are much longer. The launch episode, which aired on Sunday 21st, lasted a whopping 110 minutes and featured the hen and stag dos as well as two couples tying the knot. The second episode, which followed on Monday night, was also 110 minutes, and viewers saw two more weddings plus the first honeymoons. After that, the show will generally stick to just over an hour per night, which still gives us plenty to sink our teeth into.

The first week’s release schedule looked like this: Episode one on Sunday, episode two on Monday, then episodes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, all at 9pm sharp. This routine will continue throughout the series, though after the first few weeks it will likely settle back into the Sunday-to-Thursday format that MAFS fans are used to.

So, if you’re planning to follow every twist and turn this season, mark your diaries—Sunday through Thursday nights at 9pm are now officially booked. Whether you’re watching for the romance, the drama, or the chaos at those infamous dinner parties, Married At First Sight UK 2025 promises plenty of all three.
