The countdown is officially on for the return of My Kitchen Rules in 2025, and fans are already buzzing. After last year’s record-breaking season, which pulled in the highest ratings in more than five years, Channel 7 has dropped teasers for the fifteenth season, promising bold new contestants, fiery personalities, and dishes that will either win hearts or divide the nation.

Once again, Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will be leading the charge as hosts and judges. Manu has already hinted that cooking continues to evolve across Australia, with this year’s teams bringing fresh ideas and unique culinary approaches. Colin has teased that one dish in particular will not only spark debate at the dinner table but could even split viewers across the country. With comments like that, expectations are sky-high.

Among the standout teams this season are Justin and Will, two footy dads from New South Wales. Will, a former NRL star, is teaming up with his longtime mate Justin, a foodie known for his Instagram creations. Their cooking will draw on Will’s Tongan background and Justin’s South African roots, and as the first team to cook this season, they’re under plenty of pressure to impress.

Then there’s Anne and Maree, a mother-daughter duo from Victoria known as the “Gourmet Greeks.” Their biggest advantage is a treasured handwritten cookbook passed down from Anne’s late mother. The emotional connection to their food has already captured attention, with Colin describing one of their dishes as “seasoned with love” and good enough to transport him straight to Greece.

South Australia’s Maria and Bailey have been branded the most ambitious duo yet. They’re confident, outspoken, and not afraid to critique their competitors, but a sneak peek shows that even they aren’t immune to disaster in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Michael and Rielli from Queensland bring a very different flavor dynamic: Michael proudly calls himself a “meat master,” while Rielli shines in baking and pastries. One of their controversial dishes is already predicted to cause shockwaves.

Friendship and rivalry will also take center stage. Best friends Lol and Lil from Logan, Queensland, are stepping out of their comfort zone to compete, but they’ve already clashed with Michael, who cheekily labeled them the “Logan bogans.” Their response? They can’t wait to prove him wrong in the kitchen.

Finally, cousins Mel and Jacinta from New South Wales promise a “chaotic but fun” energy. With Jacinta’s vegan and gluten-free expertise paired with Mel’s love of comforting classics, they’re bringing a balance of health, flavor, and unpredictability.

With fiery rivalries, heartfelt family recipes, bold personalities, and a $100,000 prize on the line, MKR 2025 looks set to deliver the kind of drama and flavor fans love. The fifteenth season premieres Monday, September 1, and if the teasers are any indication, this year’s table will be filled with laughter, tension, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
