Australian Man Jailed for Grabbing Ariana Grande at Premiere
In a shocking incident that made waves globally, an Australian man has been sentenced to nine days in jail in Singapore for grabbing pop star Ariana Grande during a high-profile movie premiere. The pop star, who is no stranger to public trauma, has spoken about her struggles with PTSD following the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people during one of her concerts.

In Singapore, public nuisance charges can result in up to three months in prison, a fine of up to S$2,000, or both. Although Grande has yet to publicly comment on the incident, her co-star Erivo subtly referenced the trauma the two had experienced in the days following the premiere, alluding to the challenges faced during their film promotion.
