Bellflower Celebrates Opening of Its First Chick-fil-A

Big news for Bellflower, California — the community is officially welcoming its very first Chick-fil-A restaurant! The grand opening of Chick-fil-A Rosecrans & Clark is set for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 6:30 a.m., and the excitement around town is already buzzing. This new drive-thru–focused location promises not just tasty meals but also convenience, connection, and a real community spirit.

The restaurant will be locally owned and operated by Itza Leon , a first-generation Mexican American who grew up in Santa Ana. For her, this opening represents a dream come true. Leon shared that she never imagined an opportunity like this could happen — and now she’s leading her own restaurant, determined to create jobs and growth for others. Her journey with Chick-fil-A began back in 2012 when she took a summer job after high school. Drawn in by the company’s culture of care and teamwork, she later joined the Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Program , which helped her rise to this inspiring milestone.

To mark the grand opening, Chick-fil-A Rosecrans & Clark is throwing a fun and quirky celebration. Guests who visit the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow-themed attire — whether it’s a full costume or just a cow-spotted accessory — will receive one free entrée or kid’s meal . The restaurant playfully calls this event “Cows Eat Free,” encouraging everyone to “show their spots” for a little bit of fun and community cheer.

Located at 9333 Rosecrans Avenue , the new Chick-fil-A will serve customers Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The design is all about speed and convenience, featuring a walk-up window, drive-thru, and even patio seating for those who want to relax and enjoy their meal. Guests can also order through the Chick-fil-A app for Mobile Thru or use third-party delivery for extra convenience.

Beyond delicious food, Leon and Chick-fil-A are already showing their commitment to giving back. To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to support local hunger relief efforts. The restaurant will also take part in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program , which donates surplus food to nearby nonprofits — a program that’s already created more than 42 million meals nationwide.

In total, about 100 new jobs are being created for the Bellflower community, which is another big reason to celebrate. Known for its signature chicken sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and friendly service, Chick-fil-A continues to grow across the U.S. and internationally, with new locations planned in the U.K. and Singapore soon.

So, if you’re in Bellflower this week, you might just spot a few folks dressed as cows — all celebrating the arrival of something fresh, fun, and full of flavor.
