Eddie Kadi Faces Nightmare Bushtucker Trial on I’m A Celebrity
Last night on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! , Eddie Kadi found himself in one of the most chaotic Bushtucker Trials the show has seen so far. The comedian, known for his quick wit and fun personality, was chosen by the public to take on the underwater-based “A-Scare-ium” challenge, and things didn’t go as smoothly as anyone hoped.
From the very start, Eddie’s nerves were clear. He was required to dive underwater to retrieve keys that would unlock stars for the camp, a task that immediately pushed him out of his comfort zone. As he struggled to find the keys, Eddie could be heard panicking, shouting, “I’ve lost the key! Ant and Dec were on hand to guide him through the mayhem, but even their encouragement could barely contain the escalating chaos. At one point, Dec pointed out, “The keys… oh Eddie,” as the task appeared to spiral out of control. Ant tried to help by directing him toward a chest marked with a turtle, but Eddie’s struggles continued. As the minutes ticked by, snakes were added to the trial, making it nearly impossible for him to catch a break.
Fans of the show have been promised plenty of drama, and Eddie’s friend and podcast co-star, Babatunde Alishe, revealed that he had predicted this reaction. Eddie had confided that, despite appearances, he is genuinely terrified of all the classic I’m A Celebrity creatures—frogs, snakes, spiders—and the trial tested his bravery in ways that were visible to everyone watching.
Interestingly, Eddie had initially thought the call to appear on the show was a prank. The 42-year-old comedian admitted he was shocked when he found out it was real, having long admired friends who had previously competed. As he settled into camp, he described the experience as surreal, a mix of excitement and anxiety, knowing that every trial would push him further outside his comfort zone.
