Ross Duffer, standing alongside his brother, told The Hollywood Reporter that while he couldn’t discuss personal matters, the team viewed the cast as “family” after ten years of working together. He emphasized that nothing mattered more than maintaining a set where everyone felt “safe and happy.” Levy echoed those sentiments, explaining that the production always prioritized creating a respectful and secure environment. He also dismissed many of the viral reports as “wildly inaccurate,” adding that the team’s core values have always been built on mutual respect.
Netflix, as expected, has remained silent on the internal investigation, neither confirming nor denying the allegations. Industry insiders say the company is determined not to let the controversy overshadow what’s being billed as the streaming giant’s biggest release yet. The final season will unfold in three parts, with the first batch of episodes arriving November 26, the second dropping on Christmas Day, and the feature-length finale premiering in theaters and on Netflix on December 31.
