"Tell Me Lies" Season 3 Release Date and First-Look Photos Revealed

Fans of the hit series Tell Me Lies can finally mark their calendars! The third season is set to premiere on January 13, 2026, and will debut with its first two episodes on Hulu. For international viewers, the show will also be available on Disney+. As anticipation grows, fans are eager to see how the drama continues to unfold between Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) at Baird College.

Season 3 picks up with Lucy and Stephen’s tumultuous on-and-off romance as they return to college for the spring semester. Although they’ve promised each other things will be different this time, their past mistakes and indiscretions come back to haunt them. As the synopsis reveals, Lucy finds herself caught in a controversy that she never intended to be part of, and the ongoing fallout from last season forces Lucy and Stephen’s friends to confront their own destructive behaviors.

In the wake of a dramatic season finale, which saw Bree (Catherine Missal) and Evan (Branden Cook) on the brink of marriage, things take another twist. Stephen, in a shocking move, sent Bree a recorded confession from Evan, revealing that he had cheated with Lucy right before their wedding. With such a bombshell dropped, it’s clear that the third season will continue to unravel even more complex relationships.

Returning cast members include Sonia Mena, Spencer House, and Alicia Crowder, along with the addition of new faces like Iris Apatow, who joins as Amanda—a bubbly but fragile freshman keeping a big secret. Costa D’Angelo also joins as Alex, a psychology grad student and part-time drug dealer with a complicated history with Bree. Fans can expect more twists and betrayals as the characters navigate their tangled lives.

The show's executive producer and showrunner, Meaghan Oppenheimer, promises that Season 3 will be the messiest yet, with escalating drama that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. "It truly feels like the peak of all these characters’ worst decisions," says Oppenheimer. The season, which will span eight episodes, is based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, with Lovering herself serving as a consulting producer.

Tell Me Lies has certainly earned its place as one of Hulu’s most gripping dramas, and with the third season on the horizon, it looks like the messy relationships, betrayals, and secrets are just getting started.
