Eagles Dominate Raiders 31-0, Ending Losing Streak
In a dominant display, the Philadelphia Eagles shut out the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 at Lincoln Financial Field, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Eagles were firing on all cylinders, with standout performances from both their offense and defense.
The game kicked off with an early Eagles touchdown, as quarterback Jalen Hurts connected with tight end Dallas Goedert for a 4-yard flip pass, capping off a 67-yard, 13-play drive. The Eagles controlled the tempo from the start, with Saquon Barkley contributing 26 yards on the ground, and A.J. Brown drawing a crucial 20-yard pass interference penalty to keep the drive alive. The Raiders struggled to respond, and on their subsequent drive, they were halted by an impressive defensive stand. Jalean Phillips tipped a pass at the line of scrimmage, forcing a turnover on downs after an 11-yard sack by Moro Ojomo.
In the second quarter, the Eagles extended their lead with a 27-yard field goal from Jake Elliott, followed by a 2-yard touchdown run by Saquon Barkley, putting the Eagles up 17-0. The drive featured big plays from both Dallas Goedert, who made key receptions, and Tank Bigsby, who sparked the running game. The defense continued to dominate as Brandon Graham recorded two sacks, including one on a crucial third down, while Zack Baun grabbed an interception.

By the third quarter, the Eagles were cruising. Hurts threw his second touchdown of the game to Goedert, a 4-yard pass that came after a clutch run by Hurts on third down. The Eagles' defense, meanwhile, kept the Raiders' offense in check, with another interception by Zack Baun, his second of the season.
In the final quarter, Hurts put the finishing touch on the dominant performance, throwing a 27-yard touchdown to A.J. Brown. The Eagles were in complete control, with Hurts finishing the game 12-of-15 for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also added 39 rushing yards, bouncing back from a rough week. It was a near-perfect performance that helped secure the shutout.
On the defensive side, the Eagles gave up just 75 total yards, sacking Raiders' quarterback Kenny Pickett four times. The Eagles' defense hadn't posted a shutout since 2018, but they were relentless on this day. Brandon Graham, playing at defensive tackle, was instrumental, as were the likes of Baun, who helped stifle any momentum the Raiders hoped to generate.
Dallas Goedert had a standout performance, catching six passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns. With nine touchdown receptions on the season, he is now tied for first among tight ends in the league.
This win is exactly what the Eagles needed after their recent slump, and with a 9-5 record, they are in prime position as they head into their next game against the Washington Commanders.
