Even though only seven head coaching jobs are currently open, interest reportedly came from beyond that group, suggesting at least one franchise may be considering a major shake-up just to pursue him.
Harbaugh’s résumé explains the rush. During his time in Baltimore, a 180-113 record was compiled, a Super Bowl title was secured in the 2012 season, and an NFL Coach of the Year award was earned in 2019. He also set a league record with eight road playoff wins, something no other head coach has accomplished. While recent postseason struggles may have contributed to Baltimore’s decision, his overall body of work remains elite.
Several potential landing spots are already being discussed. The New York Giants are believed to be a strong possibility, with reports suggesting Harbaugh could quickly become their top target.
