Gypsy Rose Blanchard Fears Awkward Run-In with Ex at Football Game Amid Paternity Drama
Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently faced an uncomfortable situation when attending an LSU football game with her boyfriend, Ken Urker. The couple documented the outing on TikTok, showing their support for the LSU Tigers against the UCLA Bruins. However, tension arose when fans pointed out that Gypsy's ex-husband, Ryan Anderson, was also at the game, raising concerns about a potential awkward encounter.
Gypsy, currently pregnant with her first child, seemed aware of the situation but mentioned that she had no idea Ryan would be there until the night before the event. Despite the crowded stadium, she was relieved to report that she and Ryan did not cross paths. Fans on social media expressed curiosity, with one even commenting on the potential for an awkward run-in. Gypsy quickly clarified that they hadn’t seen each other, likely avoiding what could have been an uncomfortable moment.

Their relationship, which started under highly unusual circumstances during Gypsy’s time in prison, ended in divorce earlier this year. Gypsy and Ryan’s marriage was short-lived and has been clouded by controversy, especially due to a paternity dispute. According to Louisiana law, Ryan is presumed to be the father of Gypsy's unborn child because of the timing of the pregnancy and their recent divorce. Both Gypsy and Ryan are reportedly waiting until after the birth to take a paternity test, citing the lower cost of post-birth testing.
Gypsy's life has been a subject of public fascination ever since her involvement in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Dee Dee had inflicted years of unnecessary medical treatments on Gypsy, falsely claiming her daughter had multiple illnesses in what is now understood as Munchausen by proxy. Feeling trapped, Gypsy conspired with her then-online boyfriend to end her mother's life. After serving eight years in prison, Gypsy was released in late 2023 and has since become a prominent media figure, sharing her story through interviews, a book, and an active presence on TikTok.
Despite her troubled past, Gypsy seems determined to move forward. Reunited with her ex-fiancé Ken, they are now expecting their first child together, although the paternity issue with Ryan looms large. Social media remains a platform where Gypsy shares her thoughts and experiences, and her followers have been avidly following this new chapter in her life. Whether the paternity dispute will lead to further drama remains to be seen, but for now, Gypsy seems focused on her future and navigating the complications of her past.
