Mike Lindell's MyPillow Faces $800,000 Lawsuit from DHL Over Unpaid Bills
In a fresh legal setback for MyPillow and its founder, Mike Lindell, the company is now embroiled in a significant lawsuit with the international package delivery giant DHL. According to recent court filings, DHL is suing MyPillow for nearly $800,000 in unpaid bills, marking the latest chapter in a series of legal troubles for Lindell.
The lawsuit, filed in the Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis on Monday, alleges that MyPillow breached its contract with DHL by failing to pay for parcel delivery services. DHL claims that MyPillow, which had previously settled on a payment plan, has only partially honored its financial commitments. Specifically, the company agreed in May 2023 to pay $775,000 to DHL in 24 monthly installments starting in April 2024. However, the lawsuit indicates that MyPillow has only paid around $65,000 of this amount, with the last payment made in early June. This shortfall led DHL to issue a formal notice of default on July 2, and the company is now seeking to recover the full $799,925.59 owed, plus interest and attorney fees.

Mike Lindell, known for his outspoken conservative views and promotion of debunked claims regarding the 2020 presidential election, has yet to publicly respond to the lawsuit. His legal woes have been a recurring theme over the past year. Earlier this year, Lindell was ordered by a U.S. District Judge to pay $5 million in damages to a software engineer who refuted his allegations of Chinese interference in the 2020 election. Additionally, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear Lindell’s appeal related to the seizure of his phone by the FBI, which was part of an investigation into sensitive information sharing from Colorado’s voting systems.
Further complicating Lindell’s legal landscape, his previous attorneys withdrew from several defamation cases against him due to unpaid legal fees. MyPillow has also faced financial difficulties, including a significant cash flow issue exacerbated by the loss of major advertising partnerships and retail distribution channels.
As the legal battle with DHL unfolds, Lindell remains a controversial figure, entangled in a web of financial and legal disputes. This latest lawsuit underscores the ongoing challenges facing MyPillow and its high-profile founder.
