Wordle enthusiasts, it’s time to tackle today's puzzle! If you're finding yourself stuck or simply want some hints before revealing the answer, I’ve got you covered. Let’s talk about the clues for today’s Wordle and how to approach solving it.

First off, today's Wordle word happens to be something that happens again and again . That's your primary hint! Not only that, but there's also a letter that repeats within the word, which should help narrow things down.

Now, if you’re still scratching your head, let’s move a step further. The word starts with an "R" and includes a recurring letter. Got any guesses yet? Alright, if you’re still not sure, I'll let you know that the answer to today’s Wordle puzzle is RECUR . A word that fits perfectly with the hint of something happening repeatedly.

Now that you know the answer, let's dive into how I approached solving it. I started with a solid word: PINES . It wasn’t the best guess, leaving me with 347 potential words still in play. My next guess, CRATE , dramatically narrowed things down to just five possibilities. At that point, I was getting closer, and my next guess was DECOR , which brought me down to the final word. The answer, of course, was RECUR .

If you're like me and like to compare your performance, I tend to use the Wordle Bot after solving each puzzle. It’s a great way to analyze your guesses and see where you could have done better. Today, the bot managed to solve it in three guesses, while I took four. Not too bad, but I lost a point to the bot today!

As for the word RECUR , it comes from the Latin word recurrere , which means "to run back" or "to return." It’s made up of the prefix re- meaning "again" or "back," and currere meaning "to run." The word entered Middle English through Old French, keeping its meaning of something returning or happening over and over again.

Wordle never ceases to challenge our brains, and today was no exception. Keep at it, and don’t feel bad if you didn't get it right away. Tomorrow brings a new word, and we'll be back with more hints and guidance to keep your Wordle streak alive!
